NDC - QA/QC Engineer

Job Role
a) Prepares and submits for review and approval quality control plans for structural, piping, welding, NDT and painting activities will be carried out in BAO w/s.
b) To ensure the implementation of the approved quality plan for overhaul and maintenance of the mechanical d electrical together with structure and piping repairs and modification and fabrication as well.
c) Keep record for NDC & contractor welders’ qualification and make sure it is up to date and arrange to certify NDC welders on regular basis.
d) Ensures the availability of NDT procedures and plans relative to all maintenance work, spot check the implementation of NDT procedures by contractor personnel.
e) Maintain the record for NDT reports and equipment history.
f) Create forms to cover the work shop different activities like equipment receive, steel material receive, equipment dispatch etc…
g) To establish material / equipment tracebility system within the workshop and to make sure it is implemented and kept record.
h) To guide welders, painters & fabricators to use the right procedures and keep record for their training matrix.

Job Requirement
a) BSC Mechanical Engineering or Metallurgy Engineering.
b) NDT certified level II Asnt.
c) CWI or Cswip 3.2 welding certified.
d) Background on painting application and inspection.
e) Background on management system and ISO requirements.
f) Minimum 6 years experince in oil / industrial work shop.
g) Background on equipment quality control and inspection techniques.
h) Must be computer literate.
i) Good knowledge of english language.
