SENIOR RISK ANALYST. CREDIT & RISK GROUP, HEAD OFFICE
Arab Banking Corporation (ABC) is one of the leading financial institutions in the Middle East. With its strong and established presence in the MENA region it is uniquely placed to capitalize on surging regional markets and increased corporate activity. We are currently seeking to recruit a Senior Risk Analyst to coordinate the ABC group-wide Economic Capital / Risk Budgets and assist in all credit related developments requirements particularly in areas of Credit Risk, Portfolio Management and Basel II guidelines.

The candidate should have wide experience in the banking sector either with an international bank or a large local bank, and should possess the following:
+ Post graduate degree in Business Administration, Risk Management or other financial discipline such as CFA or Chartered Accountancy;
+ Ten years of relevant experience within Corporate Banking, Risk and Credit;
+ Good understanding of Risk Management principles, Credit, and Accounting principles;
+ Strong interpersonal skills and excellent presentation abilities.

Responsibilities
+ Assist in the group-wide development, implementation, and refinement of the Credit Risk Management framework being developed for the parent bank as well as the group and to evaluate new Credit Risk measurements tools ;
+ Undertake the estimation of Economic Capital/Risk budget for the ABC Group both at the planning and quarterly review stages;
+ Basel II related risk management activities. Contribute to the development and review role;
+ Support with portfolio analysis of credit risks within a unit, industry or economic sector and recommend actions for management reviews;
+ Improve the methodology and framework for a RAROC infrastructure; and Update and revise Credit policies related to Risk Management.
