Process Engineer (Safety/Fire)
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
Min 5 years experience in Oil and Gas Industry focusing on process design safety and fire protection of the production facilities and knowledgeable with International standards applicable for process design safety and fire protection requirement. Should have previous experience with safety related studies, Electrical area classification, Fire Protection System Design etc.
Should possess excellent communication, presentation, influencing and behavioural skills, be fluent in English and have good computer and applicable software literacy
Job Purpose/Responsibilities
+ To provide professional technical support for Projects process design safety reviews and appraisals. To assure that all applied process designs safety and fire protection means are adequate as per the requirement of International Standards/Codes of Practices and all ADMA-OPCO and ADNOC guidelines/regulations.
+ To coordinate and control all project safety studies, design/safety reviews and to coordinate with other related divisions/departments. To participate in risk analysis and risk management activities and safety audits and will be reporting to PETL.
+ To mainly lead in specifying the process design safety and fire protection scope for ADMA-OPCO Projects, to prepare all the requirement for key process design safety and fire protection reviews, in coordination with Projects and Assets, to specify the engineering codes and standards to be followed, assure ADMA-OPCO and ADNOC safety and fire protection requirement are well defined and applied, participate and lead HAZOP, HAZID, PHSER…etc and other safety studies, assure proper close out of actions arising from such studies.
Qualification
Degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent.
