RASGAS - CAD OPERATOR
Role:
• Provides multidiscipline drafting support of engineering drawings. • Supports Project Engineers with the development of drawings for new Capital Projects. • Supports drawing development through the MOC (Management of Change), EWR Engineering Work Request), and CWR (Cad Work Request) process. • Maintains expert software knowledge with RasGas Drafting platforms. This includes Microstation, PDS 2D, SmartPlant P&ID, and SmartPlant Instrumentation software. • Follows industry drafting standards and specific company standards to maintain a consistent set of drawings for both the onshore and offshore facilities. • Support the development of sophisticated database management techniques to track all types of documents and drawings containing plant information in various electronic formats and convert these products into an Intergraph format that is consistent with the company standards.
Requirements:
• Technical College Design/Drafting diploma. • Minimum of 5 years experience in Design/drafting in the Petroleum industry. • Expert working knowledge of all design and drafting components involving process systems in the Oil and Gas Petroleum industry. • Expert working knowledge of Bentley Microstation CAD software. • Good working knowledge of Intergraph’s PDS 2D P&ID, SmartPlant P&ID, and SmartPlant Instrumentation software • Good organizational skills • Very good written and spoken English.
