Job role:
Supervises and participates the installation, repair and maintenance of all electrical equipment and related electrical elements of mechanical equipment located on assigned rig, covering AC distribution, power and lighting systems, DC electric drive systems, control boards, switch-gear assembly, SCR equipment, drilling instrument and control. Implements and follows-up on preventive maintenance program and effect breakdown repairs as required.
Job Requirement:
•B. Sc in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
•8 years experience in maintenance and repairs of industrial electrical equipment (high voltage) AC/DC on onshore or offshore rigs including 3 years as Rig Electrician
•Computer literate, robust health and below 45 years of age
•Good knowledge of written and spoken English
