Job Role:
Supports the Rig Manager in management of the HSE systems at an assigned rig site; provides safety and environmental advice to rig personnel and develops/monitors safety procedures. Investigates and advises rig management and immediate supervisor on all matters relating to incidents or accidents with recommendations to prevent accidents.
Job Requirement:
•B. Sc. in an Engineering Discipline (preferably Petroleum or Mechanical)
•6 years experience in safety matters including at least 3 years on board onshore or offshore oil drilling rig.
•Computer literate, robust health and below 45 years of age
•Good knowledge of written and spoken English
