Utility Man for Materials - Process - QC

A NEW CEMENT GRINDING STATION IN ABU DHABI WITH ANNUAL PRODUCTION OF 2.1 MILLION TONS OF CEMENTS REQUIRES EXPERTS IN THE FOLLOWING:

UTILITY MAN - MATERIALS
Diploma/Secondary High School with 2 years experience in the cement or similar industry, should possess excellent Command of English and Arabic is a definite advantage. Candidate will be in the plant and need to have very good health Conditions and should be willing to work on rotating 3 shifts - Schedules.
Role:
a) Control and Monitor all the handling / transport materials - clinker, gypsum and slag - fro the storage hall throughout the Process line till feeding of cement into silos.
b) Inspect every hour all the process line from raw materials all till the cement silos.
c) Take care of any spillage of materials on belt conveyors, weight - feeders, etc.
d) Inform quickly the mill operator of any abnormal situations such as broken air slides, chute blockages, etc
e) He will carry light tools to repair any small broken items in the handling / transport system.
f) Close cooperation with coworkers.
g) Respect of the environment rules and safety.

UTILITY MAN - PROCESS
Candidates should be a Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical with minimum six years of in the similar field out of which should Have 4 years experience in the cement industry. Should possess excellent Command of English and Arabic is a definite advantage. Candidate will be in the plant and need to have very good health Conditions and should be willing to work on rotating 3 shifts - Schedules.
Role :
a) Control and monitor the working conditions of the running machines in the process line of two cement grinding mills with a capacity of 144t/h each.
b) Monitor the conditions of the running machines especially in the mill gearbox, separators, elevators and other.
c) Inspect every hour all the process line for any defect in the process or malfunction of any machine, vibration, etc.
d) He will carry light tools to repair any minor mechanical repairs such as : replacing broken bolts on a screw conveyor, etc.
e) Inform the mill operator of any abnormal situations such as: unstable running elevator, noise inside the mills, etc
f) Close operation with coworkers
g) Respect of the environment rules and safety.

UTILITY MAN - QUALITY CONTROL
Diploma/Secondary High School with 2 years experience in any type of laboratory testing procedures, should possess excellent Command of English and Arabic is a definite advantage. Candidate will be in the plant and need to have very good health Conditions and should be willing to work on rotating 3 shifts - Schedules.
Role:
a) Control and monitor the cement quality control of two cement mills having a capacity of 144t/h each.
b) Take cement samples and perform tests as per schedule table and frequency determined by the chief chemist.
c) Any request by the mill operator to perform a quality control test on the process line.
d) Work in parallel with the process utility man to adjust any control parameters, ex separator.
e) Close communication with the chief chemist for: target ranges, testing procedures, calibration of lab instruments and know how.
f) Respect of the environment rules, plant safety and lab procedures including safety.
