PURPOSE
The Operational Integrity Specialist will focus on effective implementation of GASCO’S Asset Integrity Policy, AIRMS Framework, especially in relation to the operation of the GASCO’S Plants and Pipelines. He will provide operational integrity input to projects

BACKGROUND
The Operational Integrity Specialist reports to the Integrity Assurance Division Manager (IA), together with the Technical and Design Integrity Specialists, the Senior Integrity Assurance Advisor and the Senior Systems and Procedures Development Engineer. GASCO is a key element of UAE’s hydrocarbons chain and therefore plays a strategic role in the economy of the country. The gas processing and natural gas liquid (NGL) extraction operations take place at four onshore plants. The processed products are then transferred to GASCO’s Ruwais Fractionation Plant (NGL), to other plants and to industrial customers including Dubai, through a widely spread network of pipelines.

MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES
To assure that the Assets/Plants operate within the safe operating envelope and that any deviations are recorded and authorized.
To assure and verify that the safeguarding systems are available and that they will operate-on-demand and in accordance with the Performance Standards.
To confirm that hazards and risks involved in the asset operations phase are identified and quantified and that appropriate prevention, control and mitigation measures identified and put in place.
To check that systems are in place which assures that personnel with responsibility for management of the process have knowledge of the process safety information and how it is to be applied that is appropriate to their work function.
To check that the asset is operated to maximize the life cycle value to GASCO, taking account of direct and consequential cost for given Asset Integrity and Reliability, maintenance, inspection and regulatory requirements.
To check that safe working practices e.g. Permit to Work (PTW) are in place. Activity Risk Assessments are carried out and the results communicated to personnel prior work starting.
To ensure that Process Hazard Analyses (PHA) is carried out on adoption or change of processes and chemicals; the results are communicated to those affected.

MAIN CHALLENGES
To ensure and verify that Operational Integrity is achieved across all Gasco Divisions.
To provide Operational Integrity advice and expertise as required.

Purpose and Scope
Provides specialist advice to the PDD Teams and PDD Management in COMPANY. This includes highly specialized and unique expertise in at least one (but potentially in more) of the following areas: well completion and design, stimulation, well and system performance, artificial lift, rig less operations and coiled tubing applications, corrosion, scale and metering. Depending on the scope of work for this specialist area of expertise in COMPANY, the role may be a full time job or combined with e.g. a PE coordinator role.

Advises on quality control monitoring tools to ensure adherence to recognized industry and COMPANY standards for his/ her area of expertise.
Acts as authority on his/ her specialist area of Petroleum Engineering and ensures that lessons learned are shared with all Teams.

Accountabilities

· Depending on the scope of work for this specialist area (see above), accountabilities may be combined with e.g. level 5 accountabilities for a PE coordinator.
· In addition the following accountabilities apply for his/ her specialized area of expertise:
· Leads across team task forces and initiates/ contributes to studies and work plans
· Reviews detailed proposals for activities/ studies for all Asset Teams and recommends available alternatives.
· Reviews relevant report/ documents prior to submission to shareholders. Reviews papers/ abstracts prior to submission to Conferences
· Reviews application of new technology, including directing and participating in feasibility studies to recommend adoption of new techniques and equipment. Recommends and plans special tests or test runs prior to recommending field wide implementation
· Reviews methods currently in use and if needed initiates the development of standard methods to enhance work processes in expertise area (in cooperation with Discipline expert)
· Member of PE career ladder Committee
· Identifies specialized training requirements and courses to fill the gap (s) in cooperation with Discipline expert.
· Keeps abreast of technological development in the field of petroleum engineering.
· Attends conferences, seminars and reviews technical periodicals.

Key Performance Indicators

· Depending on the scope of the job, e.g. level 5 KPIs for a PE coordinator may also be included here.

Purpose and Scope
Provides specialist advice and support to COMPANY’S Reservoir Engineering staff and PDD Management in the areas of Reservoir Engineering (reservoir management, modeling and simulation). This includes describing the behaviour of hydrocarbon systems; describing and representing reservoir dynamics by applying the most appropriate modeling techniques and predicting future reservoir behaviour under various drive mechanisms. Advocates full use of fit-for-purpose reservoir simulation techniques to support COMPANY’S’s reservoir development and management objectives.

Establishes and advises on quality control and monitoring tools to ensure laboratory experiments and reservoir evaluation studies are carried out according to recognized industry and COMPANY’S standards.

Acts as authority on his/her specialty area of Reservoir Engineering and ensures that the lessons learned from previous and ongoing studies are shared among all Teams.

Accountabilities
· Provides specialist advice on routine and special core analysis.
- Relationships between petrophysical characteristics of reservoir rocks
- Correlations for relative permeability and capillary pressure characterization.
· Advises on defining and propagating simulation model rock types based on SCAL data and geological parameters.
· Advises on designing and doing quality control on laboratory experiments to describe rock-fluid interaction (relative permeability, capillary pressure, petrophysical parameters and core floods). Advises on carrying out and QC’ing specialized core experiments for specific development schemes.
· Provides specialist advice on representing and modeling behaviour of hydrocarbon systems using thermodynamic principles. This includes
- Relationships between pressure, volume, temperature and the state of pure substances and of hydrocarbon mixtures. Calculating hydrocarbon properties from either correlations, physical measurements or via an equation of state.
- Advises on designing and doing quality control on laboratory experiments to describe the PVT behaviour of reservoir fluids and their interaction with different injectants.

Key Performance Indicators

· Assures:
- Accurate description of displacement process and application to reservoir engineering studies
- Sources of error associated with the experiments are recognized and impact evaluated.
· Simulation model “dynamic rock types” consistent with SCAL data and distribution of reservoir properties.
· Appropriate laboratory tests are carried out, possible anomalies are detected and accounted for.
· Suitable core analysis measurement and/or interpretation and application techniques.

· Assures:
- Accurate description of hydrocarbon system behaviour has been obtained and applied in reservoir engineering studies
- Proper component lumping to reduce the number of components.
- Representative estimates of reservoir fluid properties at reservoir conditions.
· Laboratory test programs for advanced PVT experiments and QC on procedures and results.
· Abnormal deviations are highlighted and investigated.
· Interaction with staff or contractor developing the EOS.

Minimum Requirements

- B. Sc. in Petroleum or Chemical Engineering, Math, Physics or equivalent.
- Over 15 years of experience in reservoir engineering including 8 years actively directing and / or conducting computer simulation studies. Solid knowledge of mathematical, physical, and engineering concepts required for understanding and modeling the behavior of oil and gas reservoirs and for effective reservoir management.

Performs all or any combination of the following Tasks:
a. Conducts detailed time study of offset wells.
b. Analyzes offset data, including bits, BHA’s, equipment and tools failure. Define visible and invisible Non-Productive Time, etc…
c. Identify areas for improvement, recommend solutions and initiate implementation plan.
d. Develops BHA and hydraulic solutions utilizing the proper engineering software. Develops an understanding of the root causes of drillability problems, including rocks mechanical properties and bit / motor types.
e. Carries out post well review to ensure that lessons learnt are captured for planning the subsequent wells.
f. Communicates with international research and engineering departments, associations and organizations to keep abreast with latest techniques, designs and ideas that have bearing on the improvement of drilling performance.

g. Participates in developing an effective knowledge management system. Initiate and / or coordinate the issuance of newsletter to publish present performance and best practices.
h. Is fully aware of the company Health, Safety and Environment Policy, Procedures, Regulations and Objectives as they relate to his area of responsibility. Ensures that work under his control is performed in a safe and environmentally sound manner. Ensures that new well engineering solutions and practices have no negative impact on HSE or life cycle end product quality. The job incumbent plays major role in following up an updated technologies and practices related to drilling issues.
Recommends the best practices to maintain well quality and reduce cost.

Job Details
Process Engineer Leader: Basic Function: -Directs and manages the activities of Process Engineering Section. -Study and evaluate new process technologies and contributes to the overall performance of TAKREER -Develops new technologies by cooperating with such research institutions as PI, and other research institutes and contributes to the TAKREER’s operations. -Contributes towards the advancement of TAKREER’s refining technology. -Contributes towards the advancement of scientific and technological qualification on refining fields of UAE and UAE nationals. -Actively work to develop new process technologies and endeavour to apply them to refineries with the assistance of various discipline engineers. -Directs and leads research activities on new technology development with cooperation with PI and other international research institutions as well as process licensors and engineering companies. -Key liaison, for R & D related issues, with Ruwais, Abu Dhabi refinery, PI and Universities etc. -Initiates research activities on new process technology within TTC and outside TTC. -Plays a major role by cooperating with researchers in TTC and refinery engineers -Applies TTC’s study including research achievements to refineries by close relation with refinery engineers. -Collects the state of art of information of the most advanced technologies and products. -Using this information, improves and enhances TAKREER refineries operations. -Conducts various studies, such as on plant configuration, selection of possible licensing process and evaluation of economics etc, for TAKREER to construct a new refinery and revamping -Lead and encourage TTC personnel to take part in seminars/the industrial exhibitions and conferences featuring the International refinery industry. -Collaboration with the academic group of people in the petroleum and refinery sectors. -Provides technical expertise for rationalization and optimization of refinery units and operation. -Conducts and leads accumulation of technical information within TAKREER as well as from outside. -Guides and coordinates with process engineers in refineries -Provides technical expertise for Process Engineering design and development for projects associated with oil refining/treatment and transportation. -Reviews the work performed by Project Management Consultants and supervises the Front End Engineering Design (FEED)/Detailed Engineering Contractors’ work. -Provides guidance in trouble shooting to the refineries as required. -Develops ‘Statement of Requirements’ for grass root as well as major revamp projects. -Supervises and approves the design and engineering works performed by engineering contractors engaged for FEED & EPC contracts. -Reviews/comments/approves PFD & P&ID, Datasheets, technical documents, technical specifications, standards, technical evaluation report and award recommendation prepared by EPC Contractors for the projects. -Performs design & engineering works for projects to be handled in-house. -Provides advice and assistance to TAKREER’s plants in process and utility interfaces. About the Job: Reporting to the Chief Engineer. The job is of a critical nature in providing technical expertise for Process Engineering capacity for R&D and Engineering studies associated with oil refining/treatment and transportation. The incumbent should have worked in various FEED with contracting/ engineering companies. The incumbent perform pre-feasibility study and feasibility study with technology study and engineering works. Must have thorough understanding of the design principles of process equipment, specific to hydrocarbon process industry. Good knowledge of the main safety-related codes and practices. Must have good experience in the application of HAZOP, HAZID and SIL rating to process design The job requires excellent communicator with good interpersonal skills in dealing with professional engineering interfaces.

ZADCO - Marine Services Team Leader

Job purpose & Scope:
Provide critical integrated marine support for the smooth working of all offshore operations including projects, material and personnel movements. Ensure priority is given to HSE compliance, adequate and quick response to emergency and rescue situations at sea, covering the activities of both ZADCO and ADMA-OPCO requirements.Develop and establish marine standards for ZADCO specific requirements to be compatible with local and international industry best practice codes. Ensure compliance to achieve safety and efficiency of operation.

Principal Accountabilities:
1. Manage and supervise marine fleet and marine spread capabilities for providing effective technical and functional support to UZ, Satah and UAD fields to meet their marine requirements.
2. Ensure effective maintenance and regular updating of all marine charts, marine related drawings and documents for all vessels and SPMs under purview.
3. Monitor and manage fleet operation of all vessels (production, maintenance, multi-purpose and passenger related) to ensure compliance with marine procedures with satisfactory and reliable performance.
4. Maintain high priority for HSE issues and ensure full implementation of HSE regulations by ensuring timely inspections are conducted on vessels / barges under purview, any outstanding issues / points are addressed and rectified promptly and entry permits granted accordingly.
5. Review and approve contractors’ preventive maintenance programmes and dry-docking schedules for vessels under own scope, visit dry-dock during refurbishment of vessels and approve the temporary replacement of vessels during breakdown or dry-docking, so that continuity of operations is maintained.
6. Ensure field visits are conducted to check the condition of operating vessels and their conformity with international and local standards, regulations and the contractual technical specifications. Review and give technical acceptance to jobs performed by contractors.
7. Ensure regular contact is maintained with Radio Room and marine Coordination Control (MCC) is always kept informed and updated on any planned marine movements in the fields and that meteorological information is dispatched regularly to sites and vessels.
8. Lead the response to all Marine Offshore Emergencies for fire-fighting, anti-pollution, search and rescue operations etc., in fields under ZADCO scope and advise on relevant methods and equipment during operations.
9. Plan and manage all marine project activities in coordination with relevant parties and ensure these activities are conducted as per Company’s standing instructions, good seamanship and approved procedures.
10. Establish and maintain effective communications and working relations with ADMA-OPCO and NPCC on joint marine operations projects and governmental authorities such as Coast Guard, Offshore Oilfields Security Department.
11. Maintain contact with international organizations, Gulf States local regulatory bodies and OPCOs for updating marine standards and best practices. Participate in international and local forums for discussions and presentations on technical issues relevant to marine technical operations.
12. Review and approve ITT technical specifications and scope of works for all vessels and marine spread including SPM dry-docking / refurbishment and related equipment to operate SPM Units, to meet the business units’ expectations by giving suitable recommendations after technical evaluation of tenders. Participate and contribute in contract regulations and Tender Board presentation process.
13. Lead investigation and analysis of any offshore marine accidents / incidents in liaison with HSE. Recommend and monitor crew-training, certification and leave rotation control in accordance with Marine Standards.
14. Achieve the set targets for continuous improvement of the operations to be aligned with corporate objectives.
15. Develop, establish and implement marine standards (relating to personnel qualifications / material specifications / equipment for use in tanker terminals operations) specific to Company requirements within controlled operating areas for marine vessels. Monitor compliance of these standards in all marine operations.
16. Ensure that regular audits are conducted for marine contractors and long-term chartered vessels for policing and maintaining marine standards.
17. Guide, direct, coach, train and motivate team members (including developees) to work to their best potential and perform effectively together as a team.
18. Work in line with HSE Policy and ensure awareness and compliance of HSE rules and regulations by subordinates.
19. Develop, implement and review marine standards for barges / marine spread required for projects and operations.
20. Ensure timely availability of marine capability for Search & Rescue operations as well as personnel evacuation in case of emergency.
21. Ensure mandatory usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), measure safety performance and reinforce safe work practices.
22. Plan, monitor and coordinate training and development of assigned UAE National developees and ensure they are guided and trained effectively.
23. Prepare strategy, budget and business plans for the services.


Organizational Relationships (Work Contacts):
a) Contact with concerned Department Managers and Team Leaders in ZADCO regarding marine projects operations.
b) Marine contractors to discuss operational and safety issues and standards implementation.
c) Masters and crew of chartered vessels.
d) ADMA-OPCO, NPCC and other OPCOs while coordinating joint projects.
e) Contact with Coast Guard, Offshore Oilfields Security Department and MENAS (Middle East Navigation Aid Services).
f) ADCO Operations Department Managers and Team Leaders, regarding Marine Logistics and Meteorological Reports.
g) Classification Societies and Marine Consultants.
h) Participation in Emergency Duty Roster as Duty Officer (EDO).

Independence of Operations and Decision-making Authority:
a) Work in accordance with Company’s business established policies, objectives and guidelines.
b) Maintain high priority for compliance with established policies, procedures and safety standards. Prepare plans in line with Department and Company’s overall strategy.
c) Responsible for establishing and ensuring implementation of relevant marine standards.

Minimum Requirements:
a) Master Mariner Certificate of Competency (foreign-going) or Technical Degree with proven track record in managing projects and support operations in Oil & Gas Industry.
b) 10 years post-qualification experience in the marine industry, of which at least 5 years as Master in foreign-going tankers and 5 years in offshore marine operations.
c) Alternatively, adequate management skills in leading Oil & Gas Support Service.
d) Good planning, organizing and coordination skills. Communication and influencing skills.
e) Ability to remain abreast with developments in standards and marine related activities.

PURPOSE
Review and process production and injection data in order to monitor and appraise the performance of wells and to participate in specific studies and preparation of plans aimed at improving or maintaining well performance.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
a. Prepare the Company Production and Injection Allocation reports per well, reservoir and total field on monthly basis.
b. Review daily, the wellhead parameters (pressure, choke size & temperature) of producers and injectors with a view to increase their potential by the initiation of simulation or work-over proposals and submit recommendation to Supervisor.
c. Prepare the available production and injection potential on monthly basis based on flow test results, Rig Activity Bar Chart and Hook-up & Commissioning schedule.
d. Establish order of priority of opening depleted wells to obtain required field off-take, taking into consideration the reservoir constraints and injection/production balance ratio.
e. Review and update the well “Data Base” as necessary, including issuance of the flow test results on monthly basis.
f. Comply with HSE objectives and activities.
g. Perform duties in safe and environmental conditions to be in line with HSE requirements.
h. Define the downhole tubing size for the new and work-over wells to be drilled or recompleted and review as necessary for optimum lift conditions for producers and minimum friction for the injectors.
i. Follow up on the water injection quality measurements and ensures adherence to the required specifications.
j. Carry out special studies aiming to improve productivity and/or injectivity of the wells, and participate in the preparation of department reports.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

ROLE AND SCOPE:
Directs, supervises and controls the activities of the Mud Engineering Section as well as Mud Engineers in Drilling Operations Department involved in preparing mud programmes for exploration, development, work‑over wells and providing technical support. Ensures the implementation of the approved programmes in accordance with established standards and specifications. Ensures the adequate supply of mud on individual rigs to avoid any interruption in Company's drilling operations. Evaluates technically service companies' bids/offers, assesses performance and administers such service contracts. Prepares the mud annual budget, controls expenditure and justifies variances.

(The Mud Engineering Section renders through mud service contracts services to 10 drilling rigs operating in ADMA‑OPCO's and ZADCO's concessional areas. Annual Mud materials and services budget is approximately US$ 10 M).

Qualification
§ B.Sc. in Petroleum Engineering or Chemistry.
§ 6 years experience in various drilling, work over and completion operations including 3 years in mud engineering and at least 2 years in senior supervisory capacity.
§ Very good knowledge of English language.

ROLE AND SCOPE
Carries out several Petrophysics duties to fulfill the technical requirements within a reservoir development team by ensuring suitable logging and interpretation techniques of adequate answer products and implementing cost effective programs whilst assuring high data quality deliverables Provides technical advice on logging tools physics and coring techniques, data integration, well environments and drilling condition effects on measurements. Attends and contribute to wells drilling and workover planning meetings.

Programs logging after agreeing with USRD team members and estimates cost for Drilling and workover data sheets. Analyzes the well path, it’s suitability to run W/L and or LWD tools. Reviews existing logs for workover and ensures depth determination and correlation logs.

Qualification
§ Degree in Petroleum Engineering or Science.
§ Minimum 6 years experience in open/cased hole log interpretation. One year core analysis experience. Good knowledge of computer applications.
§ The ability to perform Petrophysics duties without supervision.
§ Very good knowledge of English.

+ To provide technical support and advice with environmental legal requirements. Develop and implement environmental programs. Develop solutions to environmental problems involving water air pollution, waste recycling & disposal, public health issues. To ensure the conduct of all environmental monitoring as per company plan and legal requirements and preparation of all reports to Ministry of Environment. Review National environmental laws and advice the relevance to the company and prepare plan to comply with the legal requirements. To provide guidelines to operating departments regarding the performance of environmental control equipment in order to minimize the environmental impact and comply with regulations.

Qualifications / Experience Required:
+ BSc degree in Chemical or Environmental Engineering with 6 years of experience in Environmental management Excellent interpersonal, verbal and writing skills are essential. + Good technical knowledge and computer skills are required.

+ To carry out the skilled installation, maintenance and repair of a wide range of on-line and off-line analyzers, mainly gas chromatographs, in the operating plants by adhering to the work specifications, following the proper standards and taking the appropriate HSE precautions.
+ To do troubleshooting and defect repair, deciding on suitable methods of repair by dismantling, assembling, replacement or refurbishment of the needed parts.
+ Two years Diploma after Secondary School graduate or equivalent technical qualification.
+ 5 to 8 years of work experience.
+ Familiar with CMMS, hazardous areas and HSE policies. Good knowledge of production facilities in oil/gas or petrochemical industry and of installation, repair, testing and maintenance of a wide range of analyzers.
+ Capable to co-ordinate a team with up to 10 members including contractors.
+ Good communication skills in English language.

+ Work towards the achievement of HSE targets and objectives using ZADCO HSE Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
+ Experience and expertise in HSE to provide the required advice and support to Sites & HQ teams in order to ensure proper and effective implementation of the HSEMS.
+ Develops, implements, and maintains HSE programs to manage risk to ALARP, improve performance, and ensure regulatory compliance and conformance to OHSAS18001 and ISO14001 requirements
+ Participate in incidents/accidents/Near Miss investigations and prepare relevant reports and recommendations
+ Plan, coordinate and conduct internal HSE audits to ensure effective implementation of procedure & gridlines and issue recommendations and follow-up the action plan for their implementation.
+ Study, review and advice on technical specifications and Company’s standards of all loss prevention equipment to ensure compliance with the approved standards and codes of practice.
Studies and comments all engineering designs and drawings pertaining to modifications of plant, equipments, installations, fire protection systems, or projects works to ensure adherence to safety rules, standards and codes of practice, during all phases of implementation on Site
Carry out technical review, assessment and evaluation of Safety, Lifesaving, Fire Fighting and protection/prevention equipment related to projects and operation on Pan Company Level and issue necessary recommendations/approvals.
Assist in the process of developing and maintaining Process Hazards Analysis (PHA) procedures and guidelines – HAZOP, HAZAN, HAZID, SLRA, QRA, etc.) and be the Chairman for PHA’s as required
Expected to participate on regular basis, as the Emergency Duty Officer for HSE as part of Company’s Emergency Duty Team which includes being on call several weeks of the year and participating in emergency drills or actual emergencies as required

Minimum Requirements:
· Sc. in mechanical/chemical engineering or equivalent.
· 10 - 12 years in Safety/HSE Engineering job in the oil industry.
· Excellent English language
· Speaking and presentation skills.
