RASGAS - INSTRUMENT TECHNICIAN
ROLE
To perform work assignment on program plans and corrective maintenance including calibration, installation, repairs and troubleshooting and ensure to comply with all specification, RGEE system and best practices requirements. The work scope includes all Instrument & Control systems, such as Process Control Instrumentation, DCS & PLC control system, Gas turbine & compressors control system and its accessory accessories, CCC Anti Surge control system, ESD systems, Pneumatic operated control valves. Motor operated control valves, Hydraulic operated control valves.
REQUIREMENTS
•Completed secondary education with a technical diploma or certificate from a recognised institution. •Minimum of 6 years experience in maintenance work in the oil and gas sector, with particular expertise in process control related field instrumentation. •Good Knowledge in DCS, ESD systems, Supertonics MarkV and VI systems, Bently Nevada Vibration Monitoring systems, Tank Gauging Systems, Control systems , Modicon PLC . •Good knowledge in control valvse, Pneumatic, Hydraulic, and Motor operated. •Good Knowledge in CCC anis urge control valves and systems •Computer literate with knowledge of SAP is added advantage. •An understanding of sequence logic control and Plus and real-time computer programming techniques. •Able to Read and understand P&I Diagram, Functional/ Ladder Logic Diagrams, Cause & Effect diagrams, Process flow diagrams, loop diagrams •Good written and oral communication skills in English. •Good interpersonal skills and ability to work as a team Leader for contract technicians •Good adaptability to multinational environment, with wide exposure to various cultures and customs.
