Job Description:

BACKGROUND

The Operator A reports to the Shift Controller and works in liaison with the Area Senior Operator.

The Operator is responsible for the entire field operations of all equipment in his assigned area, and types of equipment generally consist of all or some of the following items: Pumps, compressors, turbines, storage tanks, separators, furnaces, pipelines, columns/vessels, control valves, block valves, loading arms and jetty equipment. He must also respond immediately to plant process upsets/emergencies and safety emergencies, which can include gas leaks and fires etc. He is normally the first person to observe and react to any field equipment abnormalities.

MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES

·To be responsible for monitoring and ensuring the efficient operation of the equipment in his designated area, handing over to the incoming shift in a systematic and orderly manner.

·To regularly patrol his area and ensure that equipment is performing in the designed, safe manner and that standby spare equipment are available for immediate use if required.

·To maintain accurate and timely log data of equipment in his area, closely follow their performance and raise timely work orders for correction when required.

·To prepare and hand over equipment in a safe manner to maintenance staff for repair and take back in service after checks as per PTW procedure.

·To react to plant process/safety emergencies promptly and carry out actions as laid down in procedures.

·To participate in the first intention team for managing emergencies in the plant.

·To maintain effective communication with seniors operators and supervisory staff to ensure that accurate condition of field equipment is passed on.

·To use correct chemicals and other consumables in an optimal manner to ensure cost saving.

·To comply with all company Health, Safety and Environment as well as Work Permit, policies and procedures.

·To understand and comply with departmental standing instruction & procedures.

·To provide instruction to meet Competency Based Training programs for UAE Nationalization.

·To check that all safety devices such as PSVs are in service and report when abnormalities occur.

·To carry out field functional tests of standby and safety/protective devices as per schedule.

Job Description:

BACKGROUND
The Mechanical Technician reports to the Mechanical Supervisor/Senior Mechanical Technician depending on his assigned Plant Division and Department. His main areas of responsibility involve the maintenance of major rotating equipment such as Gas Turbines, gas compressors, turbo expanders, blowers, diesel prime movers, pumps, valves and fin fan coolers.

MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES
·To perform and participate in the preventive, corrective and troubleshooting mechanical maintenance activities of the plant equipment, Gas Turbines and Compressors.

·To attend Toolbox meetings to establish scope of work activities such as safety requirements, permits to work, special tools and materials.

·To operate, repair and perform functional testing of tackle and lifting equipment, to the recognized standards.

·To comply with all company Health, Safety and Environment as well as Work Permit, policies and procedures.

·To troubleshoot, identify and isolate faulty components, on Rotating, Gas Turbine and Compressor equipment, using P&IDs, manufacturers’ manuals, drawings and diagrams.

·To identify spare parts required for maintenance work, from manufacturers’ drawings and spare parts lists.

·To perform shutdown maintenance repair and overhaul on all rotating and static equipment, including Gas Turbines and Compressors.

·To participate in condition monitoring checks on machinery, and notify any malfunctions or defects to the immediate supervisor.

·To be a member of the Engineering Emergency & Fire Backup 24 hour roster team, for performing ship connection & disconnection and safety support duties.

·To observe operation of all equipment during routine activities for abnormalities, and report any defects to relevant Supervisor.

To provide instruction to meet Competency Base Training programs for UAE Nationalization.

Minimum Qualification :-
1 - Diploma Certificate in Mechanical Engg.
2 - experience in Maintenance in Oil and gas plants, chemical industries
3 - experience in static and trouble shooting in rotating equipments

·To develop system functional specifications, design & as-build documentation, user manuals, training materials for minor modifications carried out in the existing applications. Also responsible for minor medications / troubleshooting Information system Reports to meet the end-user requirements

·To co-ordinate wit the site maintenance personnel for development of Vendor support, modifications and upgrades

·To develop the Fife year business plan ant the Annual budget requirements and follow-up on project execution and progress

The Electrical Technician reports to the Electrical Supervisor/Senior Technician. He receives work assignments, briefing and guidance from senior section and engineering personnel, and plans and arranges the manpower and material assigned for the job and prepares these for the day’s activities. He receives the PTW from the senior section and engineering personnel and executes the job in a safe and effective manner. MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES
·To carry out preventive maintenance activities based on Maximo work orders, and carry out skilled maintenance, repair and testing of electrical equipment.

·To participate in Emergency Response duties as a team member.

Overview: The Systems Technician position with Audio/Video experience is an entry-level position that requires a flexible, people-centered IT and AV specialist who is able to service the day-to-day maintenance and operation requests of school teachers, admin staff, and students. The successful candidate must be willing to learn new technologies and software.


Date of Employment: This position is for September 1, 2010.

Salary: 6,000 to 7,000 per month depending upon experience and qualifications with the possibility of a direct hire position after probationary period of 6 months to 1 year. A direct hire position includes benefits equal to approximately 50% to 70% of base salary. Exceptional candidates may be offered a direct hire position immedidately.

Qualifications:


•University diploma in IT or computers; advanced training and certification, preferred (e.g., Comptia A+, Comptia Linux+, MCP, MCSE, Oracle, SQL, SharePoint).
•One or two years of related work experience in the computer and/or Audio/Visual field.
•Excellent English language skills in speaking, reading, writing, understanding, and listening.
•Experience and skill in using a variety of computer software, especially spreadsheets, databases, website management, graphics manipulation, video, and sound recording.
•Experience with or willingness to learn MySQL, PostgreSQL, Content Management Systems, Website Data entry, Moodle, Learning Management Systems (LMS), and development of e-learning materials.
•Positive interpersonal and communication skills.
•Ability to maintain confidentiality.
•Experience working in a school environment, preferred.
•Willingness to learn new computer and audio/visual technologies.
Reports to: Director of Education Technology

Interfaces with: Teaching staff, administration support staff, senior management, General Service Department staff, students, parents, systems engineer, and Director of Education Technology.

Job Goal: To manage, replace, and update computer hardware and software; troubleshoot HP printers and computer peripherals such as scanners, projectors, and interactive whiteboards; maintain, operate, and troubleshoot a variety of AV equipment, including video cameras, DVD players, mixers, auditorium projectors, digital recording equipment, sound equipment, and lighting equipment.

NOTE: Evening and weekend work may be required. Successful candidate should have their own transportation.

Responsibilities:


•To support teachers in their use of computer hardware and software.
•To support the school in its use of AV equipment, including auditorium functions after school hours.
•To maintain an inventory of AV assets and consumption of AV related consumables.
•To research possible IT/AV software and hardware purchases as requested by GSAD staff.
•To develop training materials for IT/AV problems and solutions for end-users.
•To work with the public relations department to provide photos and video for marketing and information purposes.
•To update time sensitive website content approved by the Director of Education Technology using Joomla CMS.
•To develop e-learning materials for teachers given raw data.
•To assist in the training of teachers for the development of e-learning materials.
•To prepare reports approved by the Director of Education Technology for senior administrators to help them monitor critical information compiled by Student Information Systems.

•To assist in the processing of quarterly report cards and other general school administrative tasks during periods of peak-demand.
•To assist in data entry of student, parent, and teacher information.
•To perform other related responsibilities as might be requested by the Director of
Education Technology.

Job Description:
The main challenges are to execute multiple site technical problems and projects, in parallel to maintain high technical/process engineering standards to assure the Process Safety of GASCO’s ageing assets in coordination with the Area Operations and Central Maintenance Departments.
The job requires knowledge and its application at an academic level combined with at least 8 years experience in gas or oil industry.
The greatest challenge is to monitor the performance of the plant, because any off-spec product to storage may have serious economical consequences, reputation damage, and even loss of production since the plant is not quipped with re-processing facilities.

Main accountabilities:

To manage the Process Engineering/ Process Control/ Production data services Section and executing the five years long term business and yearly operational plans to provide the required contribution to the achievement of the Technical Services Department and company’s objectives ensuring alignment and common understanding (in particular the HSE and Process Safety Objectives).

To act as a focal point for the plant performance, catalyst performance monitoring, catalyst/molecular sieve handling activities, test runs for existing unit performance measurement, process debottlenecking studies and efficiency studies.

To supervise the preliminary process upset/failure investigations/studies in order to find out the root causes and to prevent re occurrence by implementing recommended remedial actions.

To coordinate and supervise the new projects pre commissioning process activities which include process performances tests, equipment constraint tests as well as efficiency tests.

To initiate process studied for plant changes and modifications for higher yield, better quality and higher effeminacy, leading HAZOP studied and preparing process packages for further implementation. Participate in HSEIA, QRA, and risk assessment to enhance process safety.

To manage and ensure that the activities of Process Engineering and Process Control are carried out in accordance to Oil and Gas industry practices and meeting the design standards of the existing facilities or the GASCO standards for projects.

To manage the process data and environmental data collected over time with sufficient high quality enabling to retrieve it over an extended period for further studies, incident investigations, shareholders reporting as well as energy- and efficiency studies.

To supervise the budget preparations and to manage the tools and human resources of the section to achieve the objective in a cost effective and conscious manner.
to liaise with counterparts in other Divisions, Head Office, shareholders and outside specialized contractors, to ensure all process engineering/process control/plant data collection activities are carried out using up-to-date software and GASCO selected reporting templates, while ensuring the direct personnel has the required competence as well as tools. Identification and recommendation of upgrading and innovation of system, methods, processes and standers to the Technical Services Department Manager to contribute to continuous improvements of the operations, safety, integrity and reliability of the Plants.
