Job Title:
Painting/Insulation Supervisor

Purpose:
To follow up, coordinate, plans, and supervise Painting & Insulation activities on equipment located in the Habsan & Bab plant areas.

Background:
The painting/insulation coordinator reports to workshop section head together with Worskshop Engineer & Scaffolding Coordinator. The civil section is part of Central Maintenance Group, which provide a range of specialize maintenance service to area Maintemance Team. Painting/Insulation Coordinator coordinates the activities with different section such as inspection, Operations, and Safety, reviews annual program schedule for painting and insulation from inspection section, and also received painting/insulation work order from the MAXIMO system. These activities require a good knowledge of paint types , preparation of surface, plus hot/cold insulation types, system and their applications/installations.

Main Accountabilities:
- To utilize MAXIMO work-order tracking of daily maintenance work orders, plant shutdown requests and prepare job plan for painting and insulation activities.
- To coordinate with inspection engineer, the degree of surface cleannees required and selects paint system as per GASCO requirements.
- To coordinate and identify with inspection items requiring painting, coating/insulation work and prepare action plan accordingly.
- To comply with all company health, safety, and environtment as well as work permits, policies, and procedures.
- To update the MAXIMO system with the data on material consumption and manpower hours expended.
- To participate in preparation of detailed "Method System" for execution of hazardous work tasks, and ensure that all safety precautions are implemented by outsourced contractor.
- To prepare contingency plan for unplanned shutdown activities and allocate the cost centre in consultation with Civil Section head.
- To provide instruction to meet competency base trainning programs for UAE nationalization.

Main Challange:
To improve the physical management of contractor related HSE issues, with due regard to the large teams of contractor staffs cattered in remote locations around the plant and working in physically challanging conditions.

Minimum Requirements:
- Higher Diploma/Bachelor Degree in Engineering Dicipline
- 5 years experience

004 (DRIL) DTL Facilitator

DTL Facilitator:

2.1 Hold pre-meeting with the DROSL/DRESL/WE to agree scope of the Drill the Limit (DTL) workshop, set dates, develop work agenda and agree on pre reading materials.
2.2 Reserve location for the DTL workshop with the appropriate Hardware and Project Posters.
2.3 Prepare with DROSL/DRESL/We the Invitation list and organise joining instructions.
2.4 Develop detailed Agenda with DROSL/DRESL/WE. Discuss agenda and material requirements with key players. Identify presenters.
2.5 Organise all presentations onto one PC. Make dry run.
2.6 Organise workshop materials: Posters, DTL workbook, stationary, participants feed back form & Info packs for syndicate groups.
2.7 Conduct / facilitate DTL workshops.
2.8 Post DTL workshop updates execution plan, ideas opportunity action plan, Risks, DTL plan for the rig and well design, complete electronic recording of the results and validate and reality check the accuracy of the results captured in co-ordination with DROSL/DRESL/WE.
2.9 Discuss the DTL workshop result with DROSL/DRESL/WE. Distribute the results in no more than 3 days later to all participants and rig / barge. Send DTL posters to Rig / Barge.
2.10 Prepare one page summary of the DTL workshop: What worked well what didn’t.
2.11 Provide assistance to Well Engineers in preparing the workbooks for DTL workshop and in filling the workbook during well execution.Ensure that the lessons learned are captured and distributed to all groups/rigs/barges. Participate in the after action and after well review Presentations onshore and offshore.

003 (WVA) Work Value Assurance (WVA) Coach

Work Value Assurance (WVA) Coach:

1.1 Scope of Work

(i) To supply at one “Well Value Assurance” (WVA) Process Coach with skills and experience who is to be based in Abu Dhabi with visits to Offshore locations as required from time to time.

(ii) To supply Knowledge Management Software to provide a system for WVA teams to ensure that plans, outcomes and lessons learned are documented and utilized when planning operation.

(iii)To provide senior management support to the WVA Coaches to ensure transfer of best practice from other operating areas and direction to the Coach as necessary to ensure success in WVA implementation including but not limited to:

a) Supervision of WVA Coach, assurance of performance and deliverables.
b) Senior Client Management Coaching and feedback (Leadership Coaching).
c) Rapid delivery of new tools, techniques and methodology, sharing of best practice from around the Company.
d) Facilitation of leadership and other workshops (as required).
e) Maintenance of administrative and contracted issues.

1.2 Skills and Experience Required of WVA Coach
1.2.1 Excellent Communication and Facilitation skills.
1.2.2 Relevant well planning experience in an operational environment at senior engineer level in a related discipline – drilling, petroleum engineering, geoscience.
1.2.3 Knowledge and understanding of project management techniques as applied to wells.
1.2.4 Enthusiasm, energy and objectivity – need not be a technical expert but needs to be able to facilitate the team.
1.2.5 Efficient at managing meetings – Time management, Clear objectives, Agenda and documented actions.
1.2.6 IT literate in the following applications: MS Excel, MS Word, MS Outlook.

1.3 Job Elements
1.3.1 Become knowledgeable in the WVA process. Training will be provided for this.
1.3.2 Assist in the development of the WVA process.
1.3.3 Coach well project teams in the implementation of the WVA process. Project teams will mainly consist of drilling and petroleum engineers, geoscientists, petrophysicists and logistics people. This coaching will consist of:
a) Organising and running kick off meetings for the project teams.
b) Facilitating the teams in setting up project schedules and phase deliverables, selecting gatekeepers and responsible persons for each phase of WVA.
c) Organising and running regular team meetings for the project teams.
d) Coaching the project team through the project in working together to deliver work in an integrated fashion in accordance with the project schedule and WVA guidelines. ‘Choose the right well, plan the well right, deliver a high quality well and learn from it’.
e) Open Minded. Helping the team to overcome changes and problems as they arise.

1.3.4 Working with the DTL facilitators to ensure a high quality DTL process is followed. The DTL facilitator role job elements are included below as it is expected the WVA coach will also perform this role as necessary.
